The Show must go on
Diaspora Jews who refuse to emigrate to Israel — are they defying the will of G*d, thereby preventing The Show from reaching its dramatic and redemptive finale featuring the Second Coming of Christ?
No, no… diaspora Jews are not holding up anything.
That’s what Walter Russell Mead told me two years ago: “Generally speaking, Christians don’t believe that there’s anything that anyone can do to speed up or slow down [the Second Coming of Christ]…”
How does Mead know what most Christians believe? What’s his evidence? I have no idea.
The evidence I see suggests the opposite — that for many Christians, Jews around the world should move to Israel.
I documented quite a few examples here. Today I want to share one more data point. It’s a video from the Trinity Broadcasting System, which:
owns more than 30 full-power television stations in the United States,
claims more than 18,000 television and cable affiliates worldwide, and
is available to 98 percent of the total [U.S.] households, and globally, TBN’s estimated reach approaches more than 2 billion viewers (per TBN).
The entire video is worth watching, but when you click play, the video will begin at the most alarming segment (from 5:06 to 7:31):
From the video:
Note to my Jewish friends: There are many millions of Christians out there who believe that by refusing to emigrate to Israel, we are defying the will of G*d and (I assume) preventing the Second Coming of Christ. We are not where we are supposed to be, and it’s time for us to go home. (I hope we can all agree that this belief is… problematic. And extremely dangerous.)
Shorter version:
Jewish return is not for their continuation because only a small portion will be included in the rapture and the rest will simply ... disappear. Jews serve purely "instrumental" role. Surprise, surprise.
